Man that 55 convert is worth serious coin!!!! I,d be trying to buy that one for sure just to flip......the profit just might pay for another finished ride!
Yaeh, love the 55, I like them so much that might be equal to finding a 32 in a barn.......well maybe not, but close anyway.
Yeah, that '55 is something to be serious about, I'd say you need to get some info on that. If not for yourself, to resell, don't just let it sit there and rot. And the '46 Chev delivery is cool too, the delivery specific parts off of that would sell for good coin, or possibly the whole car to a lowrider. Looks like a couple of Rambler Ambassadors behind the '55. Anything else?
************************************************* You must be. I'd bring it home, and I'm a Mopar guy. ('Course, I'd probably flip it.) Roger
?????How come??? did you have a bad experience in one once or somethin?? nice pics! when are you dragging them all home?
So how do you tell a '46 from a '47? They look near identical to me. The sedan delivery was 80 miles from the other stuff. There was 3 4dr ramblers and a rusty '55 4dr where the convertible was.
nice finds out there. I will be in fargo sometime between dec 8th-11 or so for my sister in laws graduation/senior design show. i will shoot you a pm. tok
The 46-48 deliveries all look pretty much the same. If that's a 47 or 48 delivery, it definitely has what is left of a 46 grille, and the grills are interchangable.
May "Bee", But these Hornets sure seem to like this sedan!... "A yellow jacket nest engulfs the inside of a 1955 Chevrolet on Harry Coker's Tallassee property on Thursday. Gigantic yellow jacket nests have been found in old barns, unoccupied houses, cars and underground cavities across the southern two-thirds of Alabama"
bingo...they don't do a thing for me either, but the money they would bring me thanks to all the sheep out ther does!
You guys are so lucky to still have old iron still sitting around. It's still like that in Iowa where I'm from........but not here in Florida.
This is my favorite tri five stash, this is only a handfull of the tri 5's scattered around this guys place, I don't remember any verts though..... shh if you're real quite you can hear the "barret jackass" crowd waving their bid paddles. s.
Ha Ha, I win. Is too a '46. That beltline trim is '46 only as well, so I know that it's not just a '46 grille on a newer body. That beltline trim along with the delivery-specific rear bumper, door, hinges and such are worth pretty decent coin if you got it to part out. Shame to see it waste away. (I have a '46 Chevy, by the way)
HOLY SHIT BATMAN!!! Hmmm would I want a 55 Conv?? Whass muh name?? LOL The ole guy that owns it will say, "Not for sale, gonna restore it someday"
