I have a steering column question....get it, steer me in the right direction.. Any way enough of my bad pun usage. I have a 1955 chevy pickup with a camreo front end on it. The steering column is at a bad angle and I would like to change it for 1. it looks unsafe & 2. its a tilt wheel (gaaaay). What have you guys used? Thanks for any help.

    First or second series truck?

I have the stock column kind of set up in my 57 suburban, with a camaro clip. I haven't got the 50s truck hydramatic shifter figured out yet, plan is to make a new gate for it so it will work with the TH400. Ujoint is out of some early 80s fwd GM. I don't remember what I used for the lower bearing in the column.
