Thanks for sharing these great photos. Ed is an American icon. Met him last year. Hell of a nice guy. Slim
Last year during a random stop by his shop, to our amazement Ed cut his lunch short to give myself and a friend the grand tour of his facility. A true gentleman and Hotrodding legend. It's great to see him out and about the scenes!!!
To call him a legend is an understatement. He pretty much invented high performance cams and lifters.
You dont think Winfield mighta had something to do with that??? And to the original poster, that photo of Ed leaning on the cowl of your roadster is literally priceless! Man, that needs framing and hanging on the wall.
A youthful looking 92 years young and still enjoying life to its fullest, one of the great automotive related role models out there.
What? He said last month he was 90 yrs. old. http://www.iskycams.com/history.html Great guy, and a true gentleman! Always makes time for hotrodders and fans!
Boy, that Ed guy is sure pushy, leaning on one car and then climbing into the coupe without permission ! Bet you ran him off, huh ? Nice to see he is still as active as he is, must have been a real thrill seeing him and talking with him. He has to have some real stories he could tell. Must be something in those cigars, look at how long he and Bill Hines have been around and how good they look. Don
