You guys are on your own for the weekend. My boss must still think I'm a malinger because I got sick after R&R because I'm the "Duty Officer" for the entire weekend. :(Well someone has to man the "Red Phone" in case the "Balloon goes up" but can't do any surfing for Vettes in the "dark space" LOL.

I had a Man-A-Fre on my first 61 vette back in 1966. Even with the 30-30 cam it was too much. I took it off and loaned it to a guy I knew. Met up with him years later and asked where it was?? He said he left it in his Mothers house when he moved out. She throw it out in the trash. When I built my 395 engine I wanted to do the 4-2 set up again, but I learned that the intake ports on the manifold were so much smaller than the Brodix ports. It looked funny to see the manifold sitting on the head and seeing the intake port on the head exposed most of the way. WTF, A single 4 BBL manifold is good for 50 more HP.

PBRmeASAP your car certainly has the look of a hotrod to me.

Loudbang cool pic at Sebring. I looked up the results and found the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa 61 was eventually disqualified for illegal refueling. Two of the drivers were Innes Ireland and Sterling Moss which is pretty cool as well. The 62 Corvette was owned by Grady Davis and was driven by Don Yenko and Ed Lowther. It finished second in class behind the exact mate to this car also owned by Grady Davis and ran the #2. The #2 car was the car I was fortunate to sit in after it was originally restored by Mike Ernst back in the 80s.

Whenever I see one of these old Corvette warriors they give me a sense of pride. We all know the Ferrari is just flat out cool but for the Corvettes to dice it out with them shows the Vette is not too shabby either.
