It is a '63 coupe, look at the trim on the door vent.

Yeah, okay, I don't dispute that, being a former '63 owner. I took a jab at the paint, simple as that.

Damn near everything is that way now. I see ads that make me want to
either gag or slap the seller. It makes me sick to think that the "needs nothing"
    '67 Camaro RS/SS I sold in '71 for $1400 could possibly be a $35,000 car now.
My '63 Corvette roadster? I don't even like to think about that.

The yellow 59 (ish) is pretty nice. The dash throws me a bit as it reminds me of a 56/57. The lower scoop out front makes me wonder if it is for a cooler (oil or trans). The only thing about those style of hoods (and I have owned a few-still have two on the shelf) is that they interfere with the cowl vent which I use constantly on mine.

Also the assemblage of fiberglass parts makes me chuckle. I have a bit of that kind of junk myself. Years ago I used to see a front header panel (just forward of the hood) at an annual swap meet and the vendor wanted some pretty strong money ( I seem to remember $300 as it was NOS). I had a clip that could have used it but we couldn't agree on a price. Maybe two years later he saw me looking at his tables he set up and asked if I was the guy that was interested in the header panel. I told him yes and asked me if I would give him $50 which I did. I recently also went to the Paragon Corvette supplier open house and looked over their junkyard out back with similar broken pieces. I knew better not to ask. They wanted like $2500 for one of the roughest partial front clips I have ever seen, like 5 years ago. I had need for one and offered them $1500 but they refused. I ordered a new hand laid full clip shipped to my front door for close to $1500 and was actually nice quality. The same Paragon clip is still sitting exposed to the weather and looks the worse for wear. Most restorers today would rather use the new clips and who can blame them.

it was an interesting build, I wonder if it was a few pieces of Corvettes left over from other builds and he turned those into a fun car. Better shot of the dash. To me it appears to be a hand made dash, maybe the original frame was used? 7A17A659-3F55-4851-86F5-6CE01182F7A9.jpeg 7A17A659-3F55-4851-86F5-6CE01182F7A9.jpeg

65 Pacecar you may very well be correct. The car may be put together but overall it looks pretty nice. Probably fun to drive as well.
