Yea we have seen some of these but these are huge.

 

I never knew Ferd Napfel had that Corvette, I just remember the 55 Chevy "Stormin Bull" in the mid 60's.

What's the deal with this one, never saw it before. It's a '64 but has early '63 two bar knockoffs and weird bumpers. Is it a styling prototype?

Also, check out the roof vent scoops and the eggcrate grill on that ‘64.

I would love to see that car in person and try out that seat. I didn't think there is that much room from the front seat to the door post to get in.

Yep, found this:
Featuring the classic split-window design at the rear, the Corvette's wheelbase is stretched by six inches in order to provide enough room for the back seats. The svelte snatched rear of the coupe becomes more rotund, necessary to give the rear passengers enough head room beneath the glass

 

Now that sharper eyes brought up the discrepancy, I can see the difference. The window looks longer also.

This one looks like the "W's" at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb so I'll add one of Speedometer Service PPHC Corvettes driven by Thom Jamison. Along with the tech inspection station across from Colorado Springs High School at the corner of Platte and Nevada avenue.
