No offense to the poster but this is one of the biggest reasons I really stopped going to the nostalgic drag meets at Famoso ie March Meet and now really only follow the SEGA racing (remote of course due to location) If those guys can run as fast as they do then there doesn’t seem be a need for the stance, hood scoop and wheels on a “nostalgic” car even in B/G. Then again I’ve never ran Gas class any thing so it just my observation and opinion! I’ll take a H.A.M.B. era car over a pro street anything any day!

  15. That would make you a hoon :D:eek:. I had a mate with a hot '64 EH Holden back in 1976 and he shortened the 3 on the tree column shifter by half, said it made for fast shifting . Never figured out if that actually worked.

  16. Around the corner thismorning. 4 speed and 2020 N.Y. safety sticker.

Many of us are probably guilty of doing that, including me. There is a time and place to do this. The place looked good, but the time was bad. Maybe he should have waited until there was no nearby oncoming traffic. Im sure I will get a lot of flack over this, but when you get older you get wiser.

    the pic says 63.
Wonder if the Crager wheels are an early set?
    Or the date incorrect.
Does the split window have extra tail lights?

Bill, You presume a lot of someone and where it was shot at that you know nothing about. That person and I have been doing that for over 50 years, neither of us have ever crossed out of our lanes. I am talking 10,000+ times. Keep your preaching for church please. And we are for sure very older. Happy flack. For your viewing pleasure....

And we also do the track.
