Features Corvette hot rods - picture thread

When he called me and asked my opinion on the color to paint the vette, I suggested a panel job, some lace, vivid colors, striping, flake. He chose the Elenore grey/green. He calls it a male version of Elenore.

I bet if she would rub the valve stem a little bit, that flat tire would puff right back up!

 

...and with a nearly flat right rear tire just to make things interesting.

 

Yeah, and the poor gal has a flat tire.....

 

I wonder how many of the customs survived? At least I know this drag car which is Granny Goose out of Ohio. It is still around thankfully.

 

I love these old style hot rodded/kustom Vettes. If this thread goes viral NCRS guys all over the country will be clutching their chests!

Dave, will the '56 ever run again?

 

Doug, The car is actually ready to run now. Unfortunately the Bonneville salt has been crappy and does not support good racing.
I doubt that we will run the Corvette again.

 

This thread seems to be dead in the water without Loudbang.

Thanks for posting my photo (the 'vette, not the guy), I've always been partial to it.
