els, You can "convert" your C-1 to a Gasser (straight axle) without cutting anything...making it easily returnable to stock trim.
Rat Sass, thanx for the heads up. I have straight axle for it. I haven't put it up to the car yet, but it loose like it will bolt right up to frame rails. I think after looking at other c1 corvettes, I need to make a change. NHRA nostalgia guys want me to bring the car to the reunion. So after the show I will change it to a gasser. Is that your c1 on you avatar pic. VERY NICE. I will keep in touch with you when I make the change. I'm sure there will be questions.
