I'm trying to get an early Corvair steering column into my '29 roadster. Simple column with only two connectors and 7 wires. Problem is that all the sites I get on that shows a schematic, not all the colors match. these 70 year old eyes don't help either. Colors I have are black, lt & dk blu, green, purple, white and yellow. I know where some go but need info on 12v feed, brake switch, and flasher. Someone out there has used one of these things at one time or another......... help. Ain't been let down yet. Thanx.
Can you put a meter on them ,one at a time set to resistance,one lead to the black[ground] then each wire one at a time while testing the function of the horn .r blinker etc
