I'm putting a 350 in my '50 F1. I looked at the Wilcap setup and it calls for a 168 tooth flywheel and a '50 Merc clutch. I started digging through my parts pile and found the correct SBC flywheel. Then I remembered fab32 gave me a flathead clutch but I'm not sure of the allplication? It's a Weber 360501 and the plate measures 11". The overall diameter is the same as the machined surface of the flywheel.

None of the bolt holes line up which is why I wondered if that's why Wilcap calls for a '50 Merc? But I assume that wouldn't be a big deal for the machine shop to redrill. I tried looking up the Weber part number but didn't have any luck. Does this look like I'm on the right track? Here's what the Wilcap kit looks like. The clutch is different. I'm just curious why they specify '50 Merc if a regular 10" flathead clutch would work? ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1420254274.894365.jpg
