1959 Corvette, still has the OEM copper line, it has a coil on both ends. I had a plastic one got by a hot wire once and oiled down my feet. It was during a 1320' pass, blew out on my feet, sure was hot oil.

So does anyone have a photo of how their copper oil line is routed in a 64/65 Falcon or Comet?

  3. If it does break while on the road it can be pinched off to seal it, un like plastic.

True...if the break isn't right at the fitting on the engine, which is where they tend to break! I carry a 1/8" pipe plug with me when I go on long trips now
