Cool wheel cover ideas on a '55 Chevy

I'll get hammered that their are 27 other threads about this, but I'm gonna axe anyway.....I've gone back to the original steelies on the '55 and I just can't think of what to put on them. None of the aftermarket repops tickle my pickle.

Original ones would be cool. I guess....

 

Night Prowlers are suppose to come out with the pointed 57 Plymouth style hubcaps soon, 15 in.

 

Yeah NP has the new '61 Dodge caps.....very cool. I'd liek to keep this no later than '56 or '57 for a period look.....I've always liked the Ripple Disks

 

I always thought 57 Corvette caps look good.

I do like the '53 - '55 caps but LORD! They are expensive....there's some on Ebay now that cost as much as I'd pay for a good OT daily driver!

 

Heres a option or I would try to scrounge up a set of wheels something like these using some beefy tires either way.

 

We should be getting the production estimates in the next couple of weeks, then we'll get the prototype going. Keeping all fingers and toes crossed that we will have them before next year.

 

Yep, '57 Vette caps look great. Love this '55!!

 

My dad ran 57 Plymouth caps on his 57 Chevy when it was new !
