We need a thread for cool shop trucks and neat parts haulers every show or swap meet has cool parts chasers sitting around lets some . How about some old photos of shop trucks from back in the day at custom shops or at the races.
Does this thread count??? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=407080&highlight=old+truck
leaves removed as required, bump stops shortened. air shocks on all 4 corners. its at ride height in the pic. sits about 2" lower with the shocks dumped. the front axle is about 1/4" from the oil pan sitting on the front bumps, and the rear diff about the same from touching the bed floor on the rear bumps volare sub front and flip the rear with notch is in the plans. it rides acceptably as is but not great on crappy roads.
There's a bunch of Shop Truck threads on here, but I'll play again.... Obviously the '57 is my latest. The '66 was alot of fun and went to a really good home. The '34 is in Kentucky now.
