This is one of my favorite hotrods. It belongs to my buddy Jeff. It's 409-powered and channeled several inches. A friend of Jeff's dad built it back in the late '60s, then ended up selling it to Jeff's dad. Jeff ended up with it when his dad passed away.

It's very close to the way it looked when it was first built. The only major changes Jeff made were (1) to ditch the stock cast-iron exhaust manifolds in favor of a set of chrome headers and (2) install a new alternator.

  13. Newbie I sure hope you're not gonna be the one to get this thread closed with your damn Nascar pics. There have been other "cool pictures" threads that were shut down all because guys like you don't bother to read the rules. Please delete this stuff and either stick to the topic or go find a 70s Pontiac website. No cars newer than 64 or so, no airplanes, boats, riding fuckin lawnmowers.... Geez.. You own a computer but obviously can't read....

  19. How about this one ? Went to an antique truck auction here in NH last summer. If I remember correctly this one sold for just under $30,000 not running...

    Chrysler air flow truck.

This one belongs to the Chrysler museum I think. It is the only running example according to the curator. One is in the Ford museum, two are in a museum in New Zeland, the other two are owned privately. One is with in 40 miles of me and I had a chance to restore it but it won't fit in my shop. The one I am talking about is rumored to have been ordered new by a guy named Hughes.
