That chunk of rusty metal, ^^^ is part of a shipwreck, from back around 1900.
Apparently, it was the boiler, and has been popping up and down, around every seven or so years, for all of my 51 years. We played on it as kids, but it's getting smaller by the year. A few ships were lost back then, (and more since) due to the treacherous river mouth.
Heres another one from the Good Guys show I though would be appreciated here

My buddy Harvey shot this one of me and my '53 during the Salvagerz Reliability run.
If I had realized how well this could turn out with my polka-dotted iphone camera, I would have figured a way to capture these beautiful cars without my ugly mug in the shot. Let that be a lesson to future photographers and a complement to a very shiny speedster.

That's a 1935 Studebaker Dictator Custom. Was at one of our local car shows last week. Pretty impressive up close and personal to say the least. Here's a link to it with more info:
