Looks like a photoshop to me. I think the guy posted some others he created also. Five in a row on page # 1215 of "Vintage shots" may not be photoshopped, but aren't old, one of them looks like the rolling bone heads staged in front of an old building.
I was there the day that pic was taken. That was the very first undocumented SBC swap into a Ford. Poor guy was so belittled by his peers he screwed some flathead heads to the SBC valve covers. So very sad I could be wrong ... I may be thinking about a Pinto with a SBC in it. Anywho, that pic is cool, legit or not.
funny. I bet I have 20,000 hours playing in photoshop. there is nothing in that photo to indicate any photo editing. it could well be photoshop, but it does not look like photoshop, which is the idea.
49 I have not spent 1 second on photoshop because I don't know anything about it or can figure out how to use it. So I don't know what it is other than an old photo. Pat
Im leaning towards photoshop on it. The Herbs Hot Rod sign seems pretty contrived. Plus the shadows off the coupes wheels / rear body and the oil and roof signs dont quite line up.
Right front wheel shows turning left slightly, shadow is fatter than the right rear. Roof sign shows shadow falling back on roof. The sun must have been almost dead ahead of the car. Just my opinion.
