History Cool Find In a ‘58 Parisienne Parts Car

So I’m in the process of parting out a ‘58 Parisienne hardtop I was lucky enough to acquire. Was pulling rear interior panels and in the process, found this on the floor when moving some rotten carpet around to look for a window crank clip that dropped to the floor.
It’s pretty cool. Looks uncirculated. Assuming maybe someone on the production line placed it under the carpet?

 

Keep it for good luck . Some of us lose money at least your on the right path.​

 

Could have fallen out of an assembly line worker's pocket, but on the other hand all kinds of stuff can work its way under the carpet over time so it could have been dropped by the first owner.

That’s one of the reasons that the wood framed cars eventually fell out of favour...

 

I had one of those that had had a hole drilled in it as the zipper pull tab on a jacket I had back in the late 60's. It was drilled when I got it in some change so I put it on my jacket.

 

I had lots of those when I was a kid.
