Monday Night 6/20 Connecticut Street Rod Association put on a great show called the Connecticut Dragway Reunion. Pre 72 cut-off and somewhere around 1,000 cars! Glad I made it out! Here are some pictures of the more HAMB-friendly cars and trucks.

Show gets bigger and better every year. It takes all evening to make the loop around and still not see everything. So many quality cars and on a monday night !!!

It looks like I'd have enjoyed that much more than Mark's Cruise up in Granby. Wish I'd known.

One of the few things I miss about Connecticut!
Great to see it continue to get better every year.
Saw a few of my old friends rides! Is it back at Eagles Field?
Saw Jim Ballirilo over the weekend in Bowling Green, I remember the night he drove the Chrismann Comet up the road and into the Reunion!
Ahh, the sweet smell of NITRO in the evening air!!!!!!

1st time for me to this show, I was driving the copper 53 chop in the thread back from Bridgeport CT to Providence and some buddies told me about it. Man am I glad that I did. AWESOME show!! Tons of very cool early drag cars, gassers, slingshots, all the goodies!! The cackle fest was way cool! Met some fellow HAMB members and big thanks to the guy in the Merc who suggested Rt 9 south to get back home instead of all the way down 91. That was a sweet cruise. I'll be back next year without a doubt!

Thanks for all the great pictures from the show.

Love all the old gasser photos because they bring back many wonderful memories from the good old days of drag racing.
