Sorry, there are a few similar threads in the archives, but not much there ,either.
Let's take it one more time...from the top.
I know it's a small state,but.....WTF?
Come to the reunion in Wallingford,Ct. on June 22nd. It's not THAT far from Az !!!!
Steve Harwood. He comes out for the HAMB Drags.
I've seen that one, after the fact.
How about some gassers, M/P cars ,Stock, S/S
Flynn, Lawton, New Breed, etc?
How about some CT Dragway pics from 2008!
You see that MV floodlight on the corner of the tower roof?
I donated that and installed it in 1980, when the racer's group reopened the track.

BTT Something ? Anything?
I have lots of pics that I've got buried in my closet. I haven't had the time to dig them out but I do have afew that I've collected off the internet and a few personal ones I've scanned. Here's New England's answer to Jungle Jim Liberman, the wild and crazy Frank Federici.
Here's another of ol' Frankie, RIP
Here's a few of my own taken July 1975
Taken July 9th, 1978. A match race between Shirley Muldowney and Don Prudhomme. Here's Cha-Cha.
No Al Hanna "Eastern Raider" pictures?
Here's the Snake. I don't rightly remember who won, maybe someone on the board was there that does.
I have one I found on the net, I'm sure I have some of my own somewhere. I attended alot of the Funny Car shows so I must have him on film.
Here's one of my favorites forwarded to me by Gene Horn. As told by Loyed Woodland, after Brainbeau's Indy class win by Bob Gaudreau's disqualification Bob was ranting and raving calling foul by the Brainbeau team. So a special best of three match race was set up between the two at Connecticut Dragway. Loyed beat him three straight.
I didn't mean to pollute your request of 60's pics by posting my 70's photo's, sorry.
Bob Sullivan in the Pandemonium dragster and Fred Cain. Not my pictures.
Some more found in my travels
Thanks Mike, I was there the day the super-charged gassers were there.
SWC, Shores and Hess , Kohler Bros' King Kong Anglia, Jack Merkel, Eddie Sanzo (pictured) He worked for Jack . Always loved the wicked chopped top look .Would love to build one.
Wish I was there. I missed alot of shows. My first time there was 1971.
Here's a few more
Thanks for the pics...great history!
We raced there all through '68. They had Jon Lundberg announcing. It was my favorite year of racing of all time.
Frank Federicci rarely, if ever, made a straight pass. He was definately entertaining. The car spent most of its time one one slick and one zoomie.
Anyone got pics of the GENE's SPEEDSHOP HEMI DART owned/driven by Gene O'Neill?
Separate names with a comma.
