International Relations? So you've slept with Asians AND Hispanics!

Seriously, you have great talent in Photoshopping, does your line of work involve this?

Congratulation on your degree. I was the old guy in class and I think the young people understand how important a degree is when they see older students in class it makes them better students. Enjoy your free time now you earned it!

Good for you man! I'll bet the cost of credit hours has gone up a bit since 1983. I entered ISU in the fall of 83'. 16 credits cost 552.00 per semester back then. Coffee in the Ag study room was .10. Today I think its something like 130.00 per credit, and starbucks is in campustown, ouch.

    Hey, man!
    Good job!
It's a hard walk trying to go to school, provide for the family AND try to find time for yourself. I am at the 2 1/2 year mark of a 5 year trade school plan , so I know how it goes. Congratulations on your accomplishment!

  8. congrats man. That is truley hard work to attend school and work at the same time.

    CONGRATULATIONS!

I got my Associates in '74, but remember, ya still got 2 more years to go to get your B.S. degree...it's really only two years of college to quote Bruce Williams...(remember him?)...

(I got my first B.S. but fell short on the M.A. and my second B.S. ...Time at work does get in the way....)

I'm strongly encouraging my two sons, (Dan will be 14 in Jan, Sean 16 in May) to get all the education they can ASAP...

Only way they can get a good job to pay for a Hot Rod....

Best Wishes, and don't forget to post a photo of you in that Blue Dress!!!

    :)

Good job man. I'm in the same boat right now, going to school and working full time sucks. Congradulations.

  14. If I hit him hard enuff in the back of the head with a steel pipe...it might!:p

Wow, Mike it's like you won't know what to do now. There are still times when I'm sitting around the house and I almost jump up from the chair because it's late Sunday evening and I feel like I forgot to do my homework for Monday morning. I've been out of college for 7 years. Go figure.

Now when I call when I'm in town, you actually might be able to come out and play.

    Way to go bro.

    congrats....

    education... good deal man

  16. I was thinking about taking a job as a 2nd shift night foreman (janitor)... Only one pay grade lower than a graphic designer (they have a union) here at the school board, that way I could take the classes to get the B.A. and finish before I die. At the rate I've been going I'll be retired before I finish.:D

Nope, won't be up, I got a car to finish.

  20. Congrats. It'll be worth it. I did my BA in 7 years of night school while working full time in the 70's. I had veterans bennies and used up all but about a month and a half. You'll always remember what it took to get to this point.

I appreciate the level of dedication you put in to finish what you started back then. My career was in higher ed, so I am big on never stop learning.

I'm interested in the term "associate" as used in reference to an educational degree. Can you explain exactly what it means?
