Projects Comet drive line

I'm in the process of a i6 to v8 conversion I am wondering what drive line I need for a c4 trans and 8" rear end. The rear end is out of a 66 mustang any suggestion would be helpful

 

Are you referring to the drive shaft itself? Ideally you'd want the driveshaft that was with the C4 and then adapt it to the Mustang rear end coupler after you figure out exactly how long the driveshaft needs to be. You'll want to have a driveline shop weld the rear yolk coupler to the the shaft and then balance it.
