They wait till the last minute to do this sort of thing. No one could have help her advertise the cars like for the last YEAR or two?

Photos on the site are 2-3 years old, She has been selling cars for a while. This has been posted on this site MANY times and on others as well. I had an appointment to go with a friend, but things changed and we didnt make it. Sad to see, but it has been advertised pretty well.

Always sad to see these kinds of things. I see it all to often though.

The old guy should have spent the last years of his life selling off his collection BEFORE he died. (Unless it was an unexpected death).

Leaving this for the wife to deal with is never good. Now the cars to the crusher, all your life's work of saving these cars was for nothing, and wife doesn't get top dollar like she could have if he had taken care of it.

Mama would LOVE that wagon in the foreground

Too bad it's a few thousand miles from me right now.

ETA: the white one with the reddish top in the background too.

  19. To bad I don't live closer. Or have the space to put them on the property I rent. I sure hope someone picked up that green 1956 Customline. That is a beautiful car.

  20. Never seen this posted here (or anywhere) before. Truly amazing...

That little White (brand) bobtail dump truck is just awesome...

How far is too far to save a car you REALLY want?
If someone saw a car they would actually build distance isnt that big a factor.
Yes,this has been on here a time or three.

They'll return someday as a washer or blender and have Made in China stamped somewhere. How sad is that. :(

    Gordo,
I almost bought a 40 sedan from him about 25 years ago. I was before I found the coupe I have. It was a real nice builder, but I REALLY wanted a coupe. I damn near go in the ditch trying to see what he has around there anytime I pass by that way! Who's doing the auction for him?

All I saw were four doors and station wagons. Smash 'em. All of the good stuff is gone.

I would be willing to bet the picture you are looking at is old and most of the good cars are gone by now with only junk left. If they don't have titles that could cause a lot of legal problems. Colorado is tough to re register old junk cars. They don't want us to save them and put back on the road. Wouldn't matter if you bought for parts only. Say good night to these cars!

  29. Maybe to you. Ever heard of a parts car? People like wagons and four doors, too. Guys like you should stay at home - more for us that appreciate them.
