WOW... I don't know what to say. He was one of the first people I met on the HAMB. He helped me find a front end for my '49. Great guy, he will be missed.

    RIP buddy

    Rest in Peace Collin

  14. I did not know Casey well. But this much I did know. Colin was always quick with a smile, generous with advice and really drove the shit out of that '32 of his. He grew up cruising Van Nuys Blvd. He loved this hobby like no other. Now that little blue 32 with the reddish brown primer spots is our reminder of what Colin gave to us all. We were a huge part of his family. And when his back was giving him problems, I know this site and its members meant everything to him. It seemed like a funny thing to say, but he even told me one time that he wished he could leave this car to the HAMB. He genuinely loved this place and this place genuinely loved him. That car will always be a part of you, Casey. And you'll always be a part of us. Godspeed.

Where it all started, at the age of 13. I believe they took the body off right after this picture.

I just heard; this is sad. Collin always had a beer to share and a story to tell. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kelly, and Collin's family.

Holy shit. It seemed like every time I went out that way the past few years I bumped him somewhere. Crazy. First guy I hooked up with at the track at DOTD a few years back and ended up staying in the same hotel. What a blast.

He was true through and through.

For those of you close to him I'm sorry for your loss. He was one of a kind and one of those guys that made this hobby fun.

Never knew him but he seemed like a swell guy, he sure died young, sad.

  28. Wow!! Seems like the only guy in Austin that loved/abused flatheads more than me. Man what a loss to the hotrod community.
