I've decided to change out my Uni-lugs for Smooth centers..
    I need 2 w/ backspace of 2 1/2" , and the fronts are standard B/S.
I'll have to call Coker tomorrow, too late now, but just asking for referrals on finding 2 1/2 backspace on a budget.
I did a search, and found Early Wheel. Anyone have similar issues?
    thanks. -41-

I have had great success with early Wheel. They have changed hands since I last used them, but have heard their service is still top notch. The new owner is Bear Metal Customs, a HAMB alliance vendor.

  3. Early Wheel-- great service and fast shipping.
They can make the wheels w/custom offset and possibly even ship the same day-- at least that was my experience.

If I get the call in the morning they ship the same day UPS... If the order is placed in the afternoon they go out the next day.. I custom make every wheel for each customer. Pete VanIderstine(look him up..very cool history drag racing) the old owner decided to retire after 20+ years and I brought the company into my Hot rod shop after him asking if I wanted it. I do give a HAMB discount and only charge exact UPS shipping... (Coker is selling wheels from Wheel Vintiques)..8am-5pm pacific 805-772-7997 Jason.

I have had a set of Early Wheels and they were nice ... ran true and balanced nice BUT ... they do not have the little slots that Henry Ford had ... :(
