I've pm'e this to eric, as well as emailed customer support with no reply yet.. so...

I need some help in selecting some front tires to match my 7.50/16 Firestone rears. (SKU 682300). The actual tread width of these is approximately 5" and there are six ribs in each tread.

SKU 643500 (6.00/16) from the picture appear to have more ribs (8) (or grooves in the tread) than the 7.50's.

    SKU 663500 (6.50/16) same deal.

Just wanted to be sure I got ones that most closely matched the 7.50's., i.e. six ribs and a tread width of less than 5".

Unrelated to this, I've got a set of 7.00/16 (SKU 676450 i think, I bought them at a swap meet) , and the tread width as well as the grooves is totally different than the 7.50's, these have a tread width of 6" and 8 ribs.
These don't "visually" match the 7.50's either..

So, is there a firestone 6.00/6.50 16 that visually matches the 7.50?

    Thanks...
    Brian

the 6.00-16 firestone has eight grooves, so doesn't match perectly with the 7.50-16. But, you'd have to be real OCD to notice! They match perfectly in appearance besides the number of grooves.

Above 60mph they shake so bad that you won't see if they match or not.:(

Most poeple are running 750-16 in the rear and 450-475 15 in the front. ALthough they appear the same the are different like you are saying. Not real noticeable from front to back. Or side to side though, I got some 700.16 with the 450-475 and they were pretty close. The problem when you jump up to the 7.50 it is actually a heavier rated tire like a Load E tire. And the 700 is a 1/2 rated type tire. Hope this helps. I have had the same problem on 15" rims too. There just is not a perfect big and little combo unless you want WWW
