Couple pictures my Buddy took of my roadster and my Dad's chevy in Oct. My Dad drove his car from MI down to NC and back.

Your car turned out great, Matt! It was cool to see it in person and meet you at the TRJ Revival.

I actually looked at these a while back on the http://www.sugarcityspeedshop.com/ website when I was first building my roadster. I talked myself out of it, even though I loved the look of it... I met a local hot rodder about a month ago (he has a sweet model a coupe)..... turns out it's the guy who makes these. Grace & Co. He lives about 15 min from me. Super nice guy. Needless to say I got him to make me one, just picked it up yesterday. Made in America.

Much better than holes drilled in the dash....

I've been wanting to change the headlight location ever since I got this car on the road. I have the pete and jakes headlight/shock mount welded to the frame. I just thought they were too far apart, too high and not forward enough. I think I found the solution... I used a model A headlight bar (ends cut off and V'ed in the center to follow the grill shape) and basically welded it to the top shock bolts. I still need to clean up the welds etc but this gives you an idea of what I did. I will also need to cut the old headlight mount off.

Thanks! I have a few more things that I am going to change. I was in a rush to get this thing on the road last year.... Now that it's too cold to drive it, it's easier to take things apart. Next is the exhaust.

I had the exhaust done while I was away on a business trip last summer. I didn't like how it stuck out (see top photo). Finally taking the time to fix it. Problem solved, made a new section from the header to the muffler. Now it flows better with the frame. I also added the exhaust cut outs (still undecided about what method I'm going to use to cap them). This is just tacked together.

The finished exhaust, I changed the cut outs from the previous picture. I like the look of these better. Faster to remove, no wrenches needed.

I dig the exhaust changes! :)
If you can, please post a video of it uncapped. How does it sound?

Wheels painted gloss black, finishing up the dash and some other interior parts.

  18. Saw the updates on IG! If you gave it to me (meaning if it were mine), I'd leave it just like this! Clean and sinister all at the same time!

repainted the dash and put it back together, also got some 40 ford hub caps instead of the 46's..

raised the back up a little to fix a few rubbing/hitting problems.

Looks awesome. The wheel well matches the tire radius now.
