nerfs, rear axle wishbone mounts, non SBC saddle engine mounts

  3. Palm size HAMB plates. Scripted car names i.e. Ford, Chevy, 32, or Deuce. Cool gussets.
I can think of more if you want...

Damn I was going to buy one last fall and my wife wanted a concession trailer. Well she won and looks like my summer will be shot.
Which CNC machine did you buy?

Anything HAMB related you need Ryans permission to make anything using the HAMB name.

The other stuff script ditto on the permission to use.
Ford / Chevrolet take it VERY SRIOUSLY to use their trade marked name for anything.

They have lawyers scan every car site you can imagine looking for name infringement.
    It's serious stuff.

Just a few words of advise.

I'd like a life size T Rex skeleton like those mini plywood kits only much much larger. How much for a giant dinosaur?

How much to make it walk?

How much to make it remote control?

    And breath fire?

Am I asking for too much?

A guy at the GNRS yesterday had sculptures cut from 1/4 inch plate...they were pinstripe designs and looked very cool.

What about famous buildings as lawn art? I'd like a mini Chrysler building and would actually be able to afford one where as a giant fire breathing dino isn't in the cards.

cnc plasmas are great. i was on here a few years back asking pro's and cons, before i made the step into one. my shop owes 1/3 of its biz to our cnc plasma now a days. we cut anything from full frame plate kits, (for the lowrider industry) to brackets, battery trays, shit,... you name it for 3 diff automotive genres

but if your looking into other different things to do with it other than what you normally use it for, know your limitations. and dont get frustrated. even if you did small script pieces like mentioned previousy you wont be able to cut em to small and detailed till you step to a waterjet. but that wont limit your abiities either.

we have a 5x10 EZrouter table and literally run it all day 5 days a week. if you'd like to chat about some ideas, hit me up on the PM be happy to help

PM me when you get a chance. I'm here in Houston. Bought a Plasma Cam about 4 years ago as a side gig. I turn wrenches for a living and mess with hot rods on the side. Figured we can make some bucks selling brackets and novelty stuff to help pay off the machine and subsidize our hot rods. We've done everything from beadlocks for rockcrawlers, suspension brackets, address plaques, crosses, headboards, cut outs for gates and so on. We're not getting rich off the thing, but at least it's paying for itself. Richard

A little off topic but what i used to make with my plasma for beer money was........ fridge magnets, i came up with all sorts of little designs some big enough for the whole door. I sold them through a little gift shop, times are tough and people like cheep home made trinkets, and everyone likes fridge magnets.
