I'm putting a clutch cover and clutch disc on the flywheel today. The bolts are 3/8ths grade eight fine thread . I plan on the tourque at 25 pounds. They have the right lock washers but I'm wondering if I should use some blue thread locker?

Here at my shop I always use locktite on pressure plate bolts and flywheel bolts even if they have lockwashers. I have never had any problems with bolts coming loose.

Locktite lets go at around 350 F. Will your flywheel get that hot? I'd put on, it can't hurt.

  6. The proper Pressure plate bolts will have a 1/4 shoulder under the threads,,,in other words, the threads do not go all the way up to the bottom of the head
