Do any of you Detroiters recognize this car club plaque, the Clock Pushers? It belonged to a buddy of mine's dad. What do you know?

Thanks for posting this Steve. His name is Gerald LeBlanc, went by "Jerry", now deceased. He was born in December of 1936 which would make me believe that this club existed in the mid to late 1950s possibly into the 1960s. I would love to know if anyone has any info!

Someone sent a photo of this plaque for our website .....

I'll see if I can contact him and ask if he was a member.

Looks like your buddy's plaque has a serious crack or had the end broken off.

    Thanks Bullet Nose.

That would be great if you could contact that person. And yes, it does have a crack in it. Barron has talked about trying to fix it, but that background texture is going to make it a little difficult.

    Thanks agian.

The Spark Plugs are still around. They've been around for more than 50 years. I know several of the members.

  9. my dad was a past member of the spark plugs. president, secretary, im not sure. plymouth and south lyon and northville were the hot places for him. not sure why he left the spark plugs to start the chuggin chariots. all i can say is wish i were there.
