Anyone going to Clevelands Autorama?

I hear its gonna be really good. I guess the Pistons merged with it, and Now called, The Pistonpoweredautorama...and Summit is on board as well.

Will be there vending in the swap meet area

 

From what I am hearing local here, its gonna be a great show.

I understand there will be a build off in it as well...

 

Is this show still held in the old Cleveland Arena, that held the National Air shows and auto shows in the 1920's and 30's?
I came across some great old large plans drawings for that arena, a while ago. They are probably at the bottom of one of MANY piles!, by now, though..
Just wondering

 

It's held at the I-X Center, which was originally a WWII bomber plant that was converted into an exhibition center.

I'm planning on going to the show. Gotta catch up with bigbob55.

 

It has been a long time since we did any Autoramas, but I think this year I will go & see some old friends. It will definelty be better just because it is at the IX center instead of downtow Cleveland.

 

I had a blast with the swamp rats last year!!! May be able to sneak down opening day?

Fellow hamber "coupedup" will have his five window in the show. I plan on checking it out. The floor layout looks huge with the two shows combined.

Ya its been many years since it was in cleveland,

I even remember it one year at the old Richfield coliseum. I think Vantastic was the theme....

Seems to be shaping up to be a great show making a hell of a come back

 

Isnt that the medical mart now or what ever they are calling it?

 

I'm hoping to make it to the show. If it's even half of what it's hyped up to be, it will be great.

Can't wait. Going to have a bike in the show that we're building right now. Got my registration paperwork in the mail and they're claiming upwards of 1,000 cars/trucks/bikes etc. Going to be a good show.
Went to first year of PPS and walked away with $750 and 2 awards with my truck. Missed the 2nd year and last years was cancelled in order to merge with Cleveland Autorama.

I have the new mid engine project loaded up to bring as part of our Slick Devil Club showing, I think we have atleast 10 cars coming from the club........Littleman

 

I am taking the Lazy 8 and my new match race AA/GS Hart Automotive willys. The Slick Devils will be represented well with over a dozen cars there, stop by and see us!

Dave your mid engine project is over the top, I had a chance to check it out yesterday. If you tune that as well as you did the truck that thing is going to FLY!!!!!!
