I used to work in a small fabrication shop with a guy that had a well earned reputation for his clean routing of wires & hoses. There was 3 guys that all did the same type work, but you could always tell which jobs Jay did. Im looking to apply this same super-neat look to my plug wires.
I'm sure there's a bunch of you out there, that have put some serious thought into making your engines look clean. Let's see what you got. Post some pics!

  2. I ran my plug wire under the exhaust manifold, to the rear of the engine, and up to the distributer. I'm running a SBC with ram's horn manifolds, other engine types might not work as well.

    What is your engine/car?

  6. The cleanest plumbing and wiring jobs are the ones that are hardest to see. They blend in, don't call attention, hid in plain sight.

I have the same situation as 57heap but be sure to use wire seperators as you don't want anything to touch anything...............

If you have a Flathead - 7.8mm wires are a tight fit in the Speedway looms.

  11. Paul, that's a beautiful engine, but is cross-fire an issue, with your wires zip-tied so close together?

Looks very tidy, what are the nice plug connections? Just a little nicer than the basic rajh (sp) ends.

Thanks, no I've never had a crossfire issue running like that, good wires and good juice will take the path of least resistance and stay in the wire.
