I'll be there wandering through the swap meet, cruising the pits in hopes of filing my lungs with nitro fumes, and to make sure the bleachers don't float away. Might hold the fence up for a bit too

Going to be in HB that weekend and SERIOUSLY debating the drive up. Anyone have a realistic idea of how long the drive is?
Mapquest says 2.5 hours, but I know better than that!

 

Have not drove it on a Saturday ? But know on a Friday afternoon or later is no telling! ( Everyone trying to get outta town )
From HB I like the 405 to 605 north to 210 West to I-5

 

if you left early A.M. and drove straight to the track you could do it in 3hrs maybe a little more

 

this sounds about right , the key is to leave early in the AM to miss the traffic build up .

CHRR, Shit, I never miss it. Will be there all 3 days. As my Dad used to say " more fun than a barrel of monkeys! Racing, hot rods, old friends, swap meet, venders good times. What could be better?
