Event Coverage CHRR 2010 pics from the K rail

Well,I'm impressed.Thumbs up.

 

Yes- I had media credentials. I was real close to the action. In some cases- I was right next to the cars.
Camera I took was my back-up- I walked off & left the other bag at home.
It's a Nikon D100 & a 70-300 old Tamron AF zoom lense.

 

Here's the last of them I'll post. They get pretty repetitive after awhile.





We hung around in Phil Lukens pit all weekend. Not much luck for Phil- this pass got him 1st alternate. Had blower rotor & clutch issues.

I remember when I was a kid,standing on the starting line at OCIR,RIGHT NEXT to Wild Willie's yellow Funnycar,and it had a fake arm holding onto the side of the body! Anybody else ever see that car?
