I didn't see an Official "Chrome Reverse" Picture Thread.
My favorite wheel. I would love to see any and every photo of cars with Chrome Reverse wheels.
I don't have a car with chrome reverse wheels, but I do have a great set of vintage 4 lug Chrome reverse wheels with some vintage 4-lug spider caps with spinners sitting in my garage. Cool bias ply white wall tires too.
Hopefully will find a nice 62-64 Chevy II or Nova to bolt them on to.
In the mean time I would like to get inspiration from photos of other cars that have Chrome reverse wheels / Chrome steelies.

Photos of my wheels below - photos suck a little due to flash photography in a dark garage.

14" x 8" that were a bit rusted, so sanded them down and painted them.
I always liked the reverse wheels too!
Good thread. Hope you get lots of pictures...
    Cheers,
    Bob

Factory six lug chevy wheel reversed and chromed a long time ago for the rear. Stock non reversed in the fronts. I'm looking for two more chrome factory six lugs...

Evel yours are great, make them yourself?, making a set but wondering what was the usual centre cap used, most photos show naked axle in the centre? (not sure what you call them over there :) not hub caps the bit that covers the axle)

The rears were on a 31 Model A pickup that was built into a hot rod in 1959....dont know the history on the fronts. Chrome reverses are my favorite wheel of all time, I am looking for some 49-51 Merc chrome reverses.

Well, mine aren't mounted yet either. But they will be bolted to the Maverick 8" that'll be adorning the back end of my roadster. 15"x10" - $50 for the pair off CL.

The '49-'51 Merc wheels are some of the best looking reversed of the 5.5" without swapping hoops.

I dont know who owns this 32, but it is one of the most badass cars Ive ever seen in my hole life. It is sporting chromed and reversed mercs out back and stock chromed mercs up front. With a nailhead....Dont get no cooler than this.

Yeah, that's like a little icing on the cake.
The tires are in great shape. Look to be almost new (even though they are old). No checking, cracking or dry rot. I am going to use them.

Great stuff from everybody! Keep it coming.

I like the caption in the bottom left pic, it says old/new rod, just find it humorous with it being an old pic.
Any more pics of the gold pickup, damn!
Would like to get some new ones on the "cord wood hauler" someday.
