Technical Chrome Grille Shell for a '32 Ford?

    "Back in the day" when chrome was cheap not unusual to see one. One of the 32 5w I had the guy I bought it from worked at a platers, the dash and garnish mldgs were all chrome.

    An early iteration of Andy Kassa's 32 chopped and channeled 3 window had a chromed grille shell.

    I would think that it has been chrome plated at some time. If you look at the third picture in the original post, you can see a few what look like dents, right near the stud and nut, that might have been leaded over and then the shell plated.

    mine has the remains of some chrome on the old commercial version, Ive no idea what its history is. I just used it as it was a cool old part, it was cheap and better on a car than hanging on a wall :)
