Chrome Flathead Water Pumps

I've been looking for chrome 59AB water pumps, and all I've come up with are these ones listed on the Mustang Depot site.

At $220 per side, they're a bit pricey, especially for some unknown brand water pumps (1yr warranty really isn't enough peace of mind for me). I'd rather not throw away $440 if they turn out to be junk. Has anyone used these? Are there any other sources for chrome 59AB water pumps?

 

Buy some new ones from Flathead Jack or whatever his name is.
Then take them apart and have them chromed.
Let us know how much that cost.

BTW, no shit it's more expensive to get new water pumps chromed yourself.

 

Just went thru similar exercise for my 50 Merc flathead. Talked to Flathead jack re: his polished ones. Not available for my thin belt outboard mount babies. You may want to check out his online catalog pages 83-4-5-6. Sent mine to Skip Haney in Florida for rebuild. Mine will be painted same color as block. Hope it works out for you.
