Hi All. This summer I installed a chrome compressor on a Volvo 1800. It appeared to be a Sanden SD508, but there was no tag. The after market seller said it was new. Does anyone know if Sanden makes chrome compressors, or are all the chrome ones remans? (This one appears to be failing...)

Yup.... Wrong arena. None of the cars or trucks here use air brakes so they don't have air compressors.
To end this, Sanden likely never made a chrome compressor. All the fake Sandens come in three colors, dull, polish, chrome. If you paid less then $200, it's likely fake. Chrome holds heat really bad!
I had a P544 that we tried to make look like a 40 Ford. It was too far gone, and all I had was mostly dre
Most of the ads either say "replacement for" or "same as" or "like a" Sanden SD508. They are Chinese knock off's.
Volvo p1800’s are damn cool! This one has a 289 Ford unit. Sorry I know nothing about chrome sanden compressors
Visual representation of his broken dreams. Also in for the post count add... all the kewl kids do it!
