Great pic's JPJ!
Great pix I had to leave early to meet a customer picking up his 62 Impala Convert , so I missed the majority of the cars.Nice day for it though Art runs a great shop , always meticulous detail & the engines are worth the trip alone , killer shop.CHEERS
Bad bob, I think they had a memorial pic on the wall for the guy who owned the willies.
We had a car show here in Yorba Linda, and he won "Best of Show",with it. Really nice guy. Dwayne, from Boyds shop told me he passed away. Who owns it now?
B.B., not shure but I think his wife was there with it.
Any more pictures or info on this one? Looked like it was a nice shin dig
Thanks for all the great photos! Looks like a very nice place... and all those Ford SOHC engines - Wow! Great selection of cars, too!
Yes, sadly Kenny Duncan died a few months ago. That "Willys" is plastic though and one of the generic inaccurate mutant Outlaw style bodies .....
Thanks for post the great pix...
Yikes Amigos!! What a cool scene with a lotta hot cars. Man a bunch of super, not often seen rides!! Some goose bump stuff in that neat shop!! Thanx for sharing this cool event!!~Sololobo~
Thanks for the great pics!
Heaven has to look a little bit like that?
The new Kugel built street roadster went over 200 MPH at Bonneville. After driving the car part of the way there (to break it in a little) Jerry drove the car to over 192 on its first pass. Jerilyn (Jerrys daughter) used the car for licensing runs and went over 187 on her third pass. Jeff jumped in the car and went over 201. Everyone reported the car handled well, went straight and obviously - really fast!
Then, to top off this accomplishment, they drove the car 600 miles back home with a average of 17 MPG for the entire trip on 91 Octane gasoline.
The car has Kugel Komponents independent front and rear suspension and is built to be driven. The engine is an LS Chevy with a Magnuson Super Charger, the trans a 400 turbo. Just a super --- road worthy --- drivable 200 MPH street roadster.
The car is being TUNED UP a little and is going back to Bonneville in October for the World Finals. where it should go over 220 MPH and still stay Streetable. Check back for more updates here.
very cool...Happy Holidays...
