Started chopping the top on my 37 Dodge Canopy Express and found a piece of wood about 1/2" x 2" in middle of the post, and can't get it out. I plan on Oxy-Acct welding it together but that won't work. Could it be MIGed with wood in it?
no, his problem is getting rid of his wood but i would try drilling holes in the piece till it can get pushed out.
Pushing out your wood? Blasphemy! (for information....fire works ok.....I have done this in the past....it is messy tho....and if your in a warp prone area I wouldnt recommend it)
I assume it's in the a- pillars, there are usually screws along the inside doorjamb that hold it in. if the wood is strong and they are not corroded they may come out easily. for some cars the wood is structural, and it's advisable to replace it with metal. good luck-
Most guys like their wood in a tight spot........................I'm sorry.( I had too ) Drilling the wood out sounds almost as bad, but that is what I'd do.
if this happened in the morning its called"morning wood" told some girl:"hey babe wana play carpenter? we get hammered,I na!l you"
