Sweet! It looks like you should get exhibition ticket just sitting there! Cool car!
I'll throw my hat into the ring. Here's my 1930 Coupe... 4" chop and 3" out of the window.
anyone know what the chop on concreteman's coupe is? i tried pm'ing him last week but no reply.
six inch slice....
i built this one its chopped 7.5 inches chenneled 3 im 6 foot 1 and fit fine
5 inch chop / 3 inch channel over the frame
dang HAMBBONE that's a cool car!!!
Hey thanks af/x !
chopped 4 1/2 in the 60's
wound up with 4 3/4"
I always felt most cars were chopped too much. I think 2" is just enough to make people wonder but not lose the lines of the car. IMO
Got to be some more out there!!
saw this thread a few months ago and decided to just do it. mine is about
Snip snip 3 inches
Wow there are some bitchin cars on this thread.
6 inch out of this ol dog.
In the front of my shoebox
Anything less than 4" is a waste of time. 4" to 5" looks the best. Channeling-NEVER!
Just my opinion.
Don't chop too much. I've done that before. It may look cool, but it gets to be
uncomfortable in just a couple of days. An inch too much can ruin your ride.
My son's 28 with a 4 " chop. He's 6'1", visibility is good, except at the stop lights.
I think on a full fendered car this is perfect. IMO too much chop on a fendered car doesn't look right. Fenderless can still look good with 5 or 6 inches, it depends on stance. Too tall with too much chop looks off, to me anyway.
CHOP IT! around 7 or so...
4 inches will make the statment and still be drivable.
Thanks for the pictures guys!
that's one bad ass looking coupe Mr. Casny. Well done sir, well done.
5 inch on the ole lady's.
