Please accept my condolences and know my prayers are with you, your family and your Dad's students. I know what you are going through because the loss of my Dad still hurts after 31 years.

  11. Targe: what I learned from my dads passing 14 years ago was this: Sure, he left a big hole in a lot of peoples lives, but it was immediately filled right up & then overflowing by the memories he left behind for us to savor and ponder and appreciate. He was a quiet man who could belly-laugh with the best, he would cry when you thought he was strong enough to overcome the hardest of hardships, and he would always give you the benefit of the doubt. I miss him still. I am 59. He taught me how to work on and appreciate cars, but more importantly, He taught me about life. I know that its tough right now, but its time for you and your family to carry the good things forward and you will do just fine. My sincere condolences to you and your family. Steve

Targe, Just read this in the paper this morning, it was truly a shock. We are very fortunate to have had the pleasure of traveling to Bonneville with you and your Dad this year. He will always be in are thoughts.

Targe, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad, I met you two at the shoe tree on the way to B'ville. He was such a nice guy, I enjoyed talking with both of you. I will keep you in my prayers. Dale

A few of us went to the service today and brought our hot rods. It was nice to see so many people that thought Mark was a great guy. I only new about one little part of his life(hot rods) but he was a P.E. teacher and a track coach also. Scott
