  6. The vent window and door glass are done.The door glass rolls up into the chrome channel.The next job is the quarter glass,maybe at the end of summer,too busy cruizing.

  10. Freakin' neat. This needs to be on the front page so everyone can see it.

    The only thing the looks weird to me are the Cad caps....just seem not nice enough for the rest of the car....what are they? 57? I reckon some earlier caps would suit MUCH better.

    Great colour too, by the way. Congrats.
     
  11. The paint is dupont base clear. The colour is a custom mix,but it started out as a ford emerald green. The last coat of clear has some flatener in it. I thought it would be duller but i am glad the way it turned out. It kind of looks like a old paint joob that does not polish up all the way.

    quick question, are the old canadian cars speedo's in km or mph?
     
  23. We went metric in 1978. Until then it was the same as USA.

    Old ones are mph. The newer ones (from about the mid 70's on I think) have km/h but also show mph in smaller numbers, in other words both.

  26. Yes the speedo is in mph, and yes to hotrodarama. there should be about 7 of us rolling down, should be a great party.
