Event Coverage Chopped 2014. My pics.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by fuzzybear, Oct 7, 2014.

  1. I spent this last weekend at the Chopped festival in Newstead Vic. Had a killer weekend, spent some time with some cool people, listened to some good music and saw some awesome cars. Cant wait for next year!

Anyway here's some point and shoot pics from me.

There were heaps more cars that I could have taken photos of but my camera decided to fall apart. Maybe I can convince the missus I need a new one???

I'd like to thank the Ford boys and everybody else involved for putting on the best show around, It can't be easy to organize.

ps. @Ryan I love the new photo uploader, beats the hell out of messing around with photobucket.

    Good stuff,Thanks for posting....

  10. Wow! That green '52 Vick in the first post used to be my dads when we lived in Oregon. He had those flames put on it by a good friend. Looks like the new owner bagged it. Just what it needed I think. It used to ride quite a bit higher. Still cool to see the car this many years later. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

The Marshall ones just a "off" year, like 39
instead of 40-41. The primer looks like a 40 ford with a willys hood and grill, to me
Thats what I'm seein' anyways....Looks like a hell of a time!!! Thanks for sharing

  15. I think the primered one was built out of a sedan or something, it had a whole bunch of scars all over it from being sliced and diced.

  16. Great coverage, love the channelled '31 roadster.

  17. Aussie bodied Willys, would have come in as rolling chassis. T. J. Richards or Holden bodied them. The 5 window is a '37-'38 T. J. Richards body. 3 window likely home built.

  20. 141008\'Chopped\'.jpg Thanks Fuzzybear. Good to speak to you Sunday, and hear the great history & cool plans for your '27. While I, like many, am still dealing with the shock of Friday's tragic accident outside the event, I say 'hats off' to all the Chopped crew. The biggest yet; 141009@19.jpg 141009#6.jpg 141009#8.jpg 141009#4.jpg 141009#1.jpg 141009#3.jpg 141009#7.jpg

  23. Cheers @Spoggie was nice to finally meet you in person and see you at work (really love your paintings man). You got some cool snaps. The accident really was a tragedy, I was sad to hear he passed away and I'm sure it will be a shock for the Newstead community. Hopefully they can have an award in his honour or something next year.
