thanks dude. I'm working on it. The chop is almost done being finish welded and then it will get a little filler and some paint. Then the white vinyl roof.

I also secured a flathead V8 for a song and plan to use it in the coupe after I run some fluids through it and make sure it's good and doesn't overheat or anything.

Can't wait to get this thing done. Also lined up a set of friction shocks and a Ross steering box. Should really improve it's road manners a lot.

I wouldn't be in a hurry to change a thing either. I think it not only looks great, but looks fun as hell too.

Thanks guys. The only thinjg that's getting changed looks-wise is the chop finished, paint freshened up and the 32 grill. The top is pretty much done, just needs a little filler now, gonna do that tonight. I'll post pics when it's done.

    Some progress to report.

Got the chop all buttoned up and smoothed out.

Also got the patch panel in:

Then we pulled the stock A grill out and put my 32 grill in place to see how it looks. LOVE it.

Still need to figure out my radiator situation before the grill goes on for good, but I'm digging the way it looks and it will look great painted when I paint the whole car. Pretty pumped.

    Neat car.....nice chop...
Have to say though that I like the stock grill shell.....just looks more "correct" for the "look"...if that even makes sense...haha

X2 about the shell. Don't know why, but in those drag racing shots the stock one looks great.

    Either way, looks grat!

The new grille shell looks great. You've done well.
Better lock it up at night though, those things are getting stupidly expensive.
Where exactly do you live?
