Thats the stuff most of us dream about! Congrats
Yeah...wild, my survivor cabriolet has the same set up! Yeah the steering is scary, looks like they used an erector set to build it. Looks like they filled in the window slots in the tops of the doors. Very cool find! Johnny
was this car south of Pittsburgh?
Oh baby! That's cool!!
Floorboard, yours is bitchin' too!
Good Save!! Keep us posted!!
That steering set up is sketchy to say the least! Rad find!
looks like 327 valve covers, good luck
If it was built for drag racing the builder was d a n g e r o u s. Very cool find! Congrats. peace
Congratulations - nice find
nice find !
Cool find, If he used to race it I bet he ran it at Pocono drag lodge or york us30.
Very cool find. can`t wait to see it out side.
Wow,awesome score!!!!! Can't wait for more pics.
dude....wow, thats rad
yeah straight up sketchy steering arm
part of the deal of my dad and I getting the car is not letting it go... We'd be crazy to do that anyway - it's just too cool of an opportunity
yep... REAL close
not sure what we'll do with it yet... we've got some good idears though.
will do, sir... and yes, we're very fortunate
yeah that steering arm is some backyard mechanic work at its best (or worst)
are you on crack?
I like your cabriolet A LOT. yep window openings are smoothed over.
unsure where all he ran it - i will find out for sure though. We'd love to find some old pictures of it.
Awesome score, cant wait to see some outside picks
Damn Tim, that thing is cool!! Great to finally see some pics of it for sure. WTF is up with the whole "one deuce frame rail and one model A framerail" deal? Crazy!!!
Great find! I hope it sees daylight soon. And yes, please make it safe..
Neat car. Congrats on the find.
THANKS! I wondered if I needed better glasses.
Sooooooo Cooooool! Happy for you! Was the building built around the car? If not out the way it went in. Still if not, sawzall and skates (wheel dollies) exit stage left and put it back the way it was. If I was a few thousand miles closer - I'd come give you a hand.
Super save bro, when we think they are all gone, presto! I wish you the best with this excellent platform. Thanx for sharing the pix from the find. ~sololobo~
that car looks alot like my coupe. mine came from a barn in conn. complete with chicken feather. i had to give it a double take. its even got the axle mounted behind the spring. have fun with it i got mine nearly sea worthy and driven about 600 miles. just fixing it to be safer and reliable. that thing looks sweet.
finally getting it home
put different wheels/tires on the back to roll it out. slicks didnt want to pump up too good
sketchy tow bar... good thing it was only 2 miles away on back roads
home sweet home
it was a good fathers day
Strange that they moved the rear end forward? ...and I see they filled in the top of the rear quarters to make it more like a roadster.
Hope to see some build pics someday.
