Nope, can't get the front cover back on, that's all that's holding me up Sent from my iPhone 4 using TJJ
No problem, I posted it a week ago hoping to have a thrash/get together, I guess nobody was interested Sent from my iPhone 4 using TJJ
Hey Jason, sorry bro I work midnights and am just seeing the post now. I thought you had this done last year after snapping the chain on the way home from the Hunnert?? Hopefully you get this fixed soon, and I am off the next 2 days-if you need a hand Pm me and I will give you a call!!
My 2 cents you will have to losen up the pan bolts to do that job when you install the bubber strip for the pan its not going to let you install it without taking the pan bolts off or loose depending on how much clearance you need. I always install a new oil pan gasket when i do a timing chain because when you take the cover off you will disturb the oil gasket. Knuck From Indiana
455's do not have a high compression piston so you will not hit any valves unless its a race motor which are almost never seen on a 455. So you should be ok. Did you loosen up the oil pan bolts yet? Knuck from indiana.
Hey Jason, let me know when you are going to work on it. I will come by and take a look and see if I can help.
