Chevy Truck Rear end swap!!!

  1. Ok boys i have a 63 chev short bed 1/2 ton and i want to swap the rear end thats in it for one that is out of a 67-72 chevy 1/2 ton both trucks are coil springs in the rear. and so i want to swap every thing from drum to drum. will it bolt right on to the trailing arms or do i need to relocate the trailing arm perches on the axle housing or anything like that??? id appreciate the help thanks.

    completely bolt-in, any year up to 72.

    Use a 71 or 72 rear to get 5 lug bolt pattern.

    I'm a 67-72 junkie myself. This is the last one I built. No, I'm not a gold chainer. This was my daily driver for 2 years.

    i think the only differance is the length of the panhard bar, but it should be ok if you got the one to go with the axle.
