Chevy to Flathead Transmission Kit

    All-in-one flathead transmission to Chevy kit.

    Includes the following:
    - 1947 Ford transmission, came out of a running/driving car.
    - Offenhauser Chevy-to-Flathead adapter
    - Correct 10.5” flywheel
    - Borg & Beck three-finger pressure plate and clutch disc from Wilcap
    - Pilot bushing from Speedway (not pictured but included)
    - Throw-out bearing on transmission (still spins freely)
    - Shifter, linkage, arms, and cup (cup is broken but functions, shifter and linkage have been shortened)
    - Extra shifter assembly (longer arms)
    - Clamshell assembly
    - Clutch actuating arm (shortened)
    - Clutch actuating arm ball mount (frame side - not pictured but included)
    - Hardware for the flywheel to crank
    - Hardware for the clamshell
    - Hardware for the pressure plate to flywheel

    This transmission came out of a 1947 Ford sedan that was replaced with a T5. The gears all look great and there are no chips/cracks/teeth missing. Spins smoothly and freely, all gears engage great, some rounding on the very end of some teeth - typical Flathead transmission stuff. If you want a top-loader, this is a great gear set to find a 78 case for and swap over into. As stated, this was pulled from a driving car and bolted up to a hot rod without going through it.

    Shifter assembly has been shortened, so fitment most likely will be an issue in most cars. These were made to fit in a Model A roadster, so small early Fords may work. Flywheel is a GM 10.5” flywheel that was ground before being mounted. Throw out bearing, clutch and PP are from Wilcap, I believe. Everything else is Ford.

    Great kit for those guys that have a roller sitting around and Chevy engines are plentiful.

    Before anyone asks - yes, this is the entire assembly out of my roadster. I’m making a couple changes so all of this has to go. There isn’t anything wrong with any of the parts listed other than I’m simply making an upgrade.. Hot rodding ain’t cheap. I think I’ve listed everything. Everything has been described as honestly to the best of my abilities. If there’s something I missed, please ask!
