Technical chevy t5 trans flathead,32 k member

    want to adapte a ford flathead with a chevy s10 five trans on an original ford 32 chassis without massacring the original K member and keeping the original whishbone !!!
    is there any good solutions !!! is that possible!! 20160612_183520_opt.jpg

    He said original K member and wishbones. I've never hung a T5 in one, but I don't think it can be done without cutting. There's a lot of bulbous aluminum on the back/bottom side of those transmissions.

    I have a T5 with an original Kmember but with an open drive. Like Alchemy said, the K member had to be cut out at the top side....bottom side was left alone and the front wishbone mount retained. We trimmed the T5 case but it was still too large to mount into the K member

    thanks mike for your informations,i think i have to change the k member and of course use an open drive !!!
    on the coupe on the photo , i have use a borg warner overdrive on the rear driveshaft and i think it't a good
    solution !!!! thanks
